Timekeepers Club Privacy Policy

This privacy policy informs about how the Controller of the site ARTJOMS KAMAĻETDINOVS (hereinafter – Timekeepers Club or Controller) processes information and personal data on the website https://timekeepers.club (hereinafter – Website).

The Privacy Policy explains how the Controller processes personal data and informs about the rights of the data subject in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation No.2016/679 (hereinafter - GDPR).

1. Processing of personal data by Timekeepers Club

Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier.

We do not collect any special categories of personal data about you (for example, details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health, and genetic and biometric data). Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

Timekeepers Club processes personal data in accordance with the following legal bases and purposes:

2.1. When registering on a website as a new user, your first name, last name, username and e-mail address are required to create a registered user account and use all the website functions. If You choose to create an account with Facebook or Gmail registration form, your personal data will be automatically copied in empty fields from relevant social accounts and You can always correct the data before you proceed with registration.

These personal data are used for following purposes: 

2.1.1. Your first name and last name will be processed if You participate in Website watch exchange services, posting offers or accepting someone`s offers.

The processing personal data for above mentioned reasons is carried out on the basis of the performance of a contract (Article 6. (1) “b” of the GDPR).

2.1.2. Your username will be processed when You comment, ask for expert opinion or suggest any new expert to join the Timekeepers Club.

The processing of personal data for above mentioned reasons is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6. (1) “f” of the GDPR).

2.1.3. If any other user replies to Your comment in Timekeepers Club website or rates it, Timekeepers Club will send to You a notification to the e-mail address that was provided when creating the account.

2.1.4. Optional personal data fields (country, city, phone number, time zone, currency, company), if filled in, will be used for watch exchange and communication purposes. The processing of personal data for the above mentioned reason is carried out on the basis of data subject consent (Article 6 (1) “a” of the GDPR).

2.1.5. In case you have forgotten the user account password, your e-mail address will be used to send you a message with a link to change the user account password on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) “f” of the GDPR).

2.2. If you use the “Contacts” section, your name, surname, e-mail address and message will be used to consider the question and provide an answer on the basis of data subject consent (Article 6 (1) “a” of the GDPR).

2.3. If you use the "Ask an Expert" section, your name, e-mail address and message will be used to review Your question and provide an informed response on the basis of data subject consent (Article 6 (1) “a” of the GDPR).

2.4. If you use the "Subscribe to our newsletter" section, by entering your email address, you have the option to receive Timekeepers Club news. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of consent (Article 6 (1) “a” of the GDPR).

2.5. If You are an expert, your name, surname, opinion will be published on the Timekeepers Club website. The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) “f” of the GDPR).

2.6. Timekeepers Club may process your personal data to comply with the requirements of the GDPR if you have submitted a question about the processing of your data or wish to exercise any of the data subject's rights under the GDPR. Personal data processed: name, surname, address, e-mail address, in case of electronic submission also personal identification code. Legal basis for processing: fulfilment of a legal obligation (Article 6 (1) “c” of the GDPR).

2. Categories of personal data recipients

Timekeepers Club indicates, that personal data may be revealed to:

  • Timekeepers Club employees whose job responsibilities include the processing of relevant data;
  • Involved personal data processors who provide services to the Timekeepers Club, such as server maintenance services, and who guarantee to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures in such a way as to ensure protection of data subjects rights in accordance with regulatory enactments;
  • State or municipal institutions, in order to meet the requirements of regulatory enactments.

 

3. Storage of personal data

Personal data shall be stored in accordance with the defined purposes of personal data processing and the legal bases for the processing of personal data as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:

  • there is a legal obligation to store data for a certain period of time in accordance with regulatory enactments;
  • it is necessary to realize one's legitimate interests;
  • it is necessary to fulfill the assumed contractual obligations;
  • the data subject's consent to the relevant processing of personal data is valid.

 

Personal data is not processed and stored outside the European Union/European Economic Area (EU/EEA). Timekeepers Club ensures that your personal data is stored and protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification or destruction. Timekeepers Club undertakes to take all necessary measures to keep your data confidential and secure.

 

4. Rights of data subjects

In order for you, as a data subject, to exercise your rights and access your personal data processed by Timekeepers Club, you must submit an electronically signed application to e-mail address: datapro@timekeepers.club

Pursuant to the Regulation, you have the following rights with regard to the processing of data by Timekeepers Club:

  • The right to access information held by the Timekeepers Club;
  • The right to request the correction of inaccurate information;
  • The right to request the deletion of your data;
  • The right to restrict data processing;
  • The right to object to data processing;
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority;
  • Right to withdraw consent.

If You want to stop using Timekeepers Club user account, You have the possibility to activate deletion of Your account. Deletion will be done within one month. After deletion of the user account, any comments You made with Your username will be made anonymous.

If you are not satisfied with any of the received answers concerning Your data subject rights, You can apply to the Data State Inspectorate of Republic of Latvia, address: Elijas Street 17, Riga, LV-1050.

5. Changes to the Privacy policy

Timekeepers Club has the right to change this policy and the changes will be published on this website.

The privacy policy was last changed on 4th August, 2021.
