NOMOS Glashütte Tangente neomatik 41 Update – Wempe Signature Collection

An exclusive blue makeover: NOMOS' iconic Tangente, with its generous diameter of 41 millimeters and award-winning ring date, has been dipped in a cool shade of blue especially for the Wempe Signature Collection. 

The Signature Collection from Wempe, Germany's leading specialist retailer of watches and jewelry, stands for the highest level of watchmaking expertise. Only 200 limited-edition Tangente neomatik 41 Update in ice blue have been made by NOMOS in Glashütte. They are available worldwide exclusively from Wempe, and a few pieces of the limited edition are offered online in the NOMOS Store.

With a generous diameter of 40.5 millimeters and a case height of only 7.8 millimeters, Tangente neomatik 41 Update is exceptionally elegant on the arm. The angled lugs on the perfectly flat case are characteristic of the Werkbund aesthetic of the iconic Tangente model.

Tone on tone: Not do the traditional tempered blue hands complement the cie-blue metallic lacquer of the dial, but the markings on the NOMOS ring date are also in dark blue on this special model. Here it is the 17th of the month. 

The blue-black textile strap is high quality and custom woven in France for NOMOS Glashuette. It gives Tangente neomatik 41 Update Wempe Signature Collection, despite all its cool elegance, a sporty touch as well. 

In-house built caliber DUW 6101

In all NOMOS calibers, the date ring is placed around the movement. In neomatik date, this caliber is particularly large. The first neomatik caliber with a date mechanism, it remains wonderfully slender. The date display can be made even clearer, and is particularly legible.
