Junghans - Meister Driver Automatic

The new Meister Driver Automatic by Junghans embodies the age when a car travel was still a stylish adventure, possibly with a leather cap and driving goggles.

In combination with the traditional colours brown (ref. 027/7710.00) and green (ref. 027/7711.00), the gold-coloured PVD-coated case (38.4 mm in diameter and 9.9 mm thick) lends a particular style to the timepiece.

The dial is protected by a convex hard plexiglass with coating for enhanced scratch resistance.

The large minute markers on the slightly domed dial stand out clearly. The grand, rectangular minute digits replace the familiar hour markers, becoming the distinguishing element on the dial. They are filled with luminous material, emphasising the technical character of the timepiece.

The large black Dauphin hands ensure good legibility. Also in black is the date on the two-tone dial, which is refined with polished lacquer.

The 5-times screwed back with mineral crystal displays the movement of choice, the J800.1 self-winding movement (base ETA 2824-2) beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of up to 38 hours and rapid date correction.

Water resistant to 30 metres / 100 feet and completed by a calfskin strap with a perforated under-layer, the Junghans Meister Driver Automatic has a retail price of Euro 1,090 / US$ 1,199. junghans.de
