Hublot - Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski Titanium

Brightly coloured and multi-facetted, Richard Orlinski’s Pop Art-style beasts can be seen in various countries: a "Wild Kong" gorilla on the Croisette in Cannes, crocodiles in the sunshine of the Miami Design District, a 5-metre-tall bear on the snowy pistes of Courchevel. Since 2015, he has risen to the top of the ranks of the world's bestselling contemporary French artists.

Cutting his sculptures like diamonds, Orlinski followed the same approach for the design of a special version of the Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph where ridges and facets on the watch reflect each other, from the case to the bezel, and from the push buttons to the hands.

The Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski is available in two brand-new models, each released in a limited edition of 200 pieces: one in titanium and the other in blue ceramic.

The visionary design of Richard Orlinski presented a major challenge for the Hublot Manufacture: in fact, the work of Richard Orlinski - a three-dimensional fold in the case – had to be modelled before it was cut from ceramic and titanium. Both materials feature one of the artist's iconic signatures: mirror polishing.

Framed by the 45 mm case, the dial has been cast in sapphire crystal and features polished rhodium-plated appliques and hands.

The self-winding Hublot HUB1155 Chronograph movement beats at the frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) with a power reserve of 42 hours.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski Titanium is completed by a black smooth rubber strap. hublot.com
