ART in TIME x Chopard Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon

To celebrate the New Year, ART in TIME is releasing today a new collaboration with Chopard: The Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon integrating the caliber L.U.C 96.24-L. Faithful to principles of exclusivity, this watch will be produced at only 1 piece per year for Monaco gallery and 1 piece per year for Courchevel gallery.

The Alpine Eagle flying tourbillon is dressed in a dial exclusively available at ART in TIME. This unique color between burgundy and copper reveals all its nuances on a wrist playing with light. Faithful to its criteria of exclusivity, the ART in TIME gallery will offer this rare edition at only 2 pieces per year.

At just 3.30 mm thick, the L.U.C 96.24-L movement stems from developments by Chopard Manufacture. Its advanced characteristics make the Alpine Eagle Flying Tourbillon one of the very few flying tourbillon watches to bear double Chronometer and Poinçon de Genève certification.

Entirely developed, produced and assembled in Chopard’s Haute Horlogerie workshops and chronometer-certified by the COSC, the L.U.C 96.24-L mechanical self-winding movement is the first automatic flying tourbillon caliber developed by Chopard Manufacture. It beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour (3.5 Hz) and has a 65-hour power reserve thanks to Twin technology, a system invented by Chopard that combines two coaxial barrels.

The latter represent a particularly remarkable technical feat given the extreme thinness of the movement, which is just 3.3 mm thick. This movement bearing the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark is wound by means of a 22-carat gold micro-rotor.

Availability: 1 piece is ready for the launch at Courchevel / 1 piece will be available in 2023 around June at Monaco.
