Alexander Shorokhoff "Crossing 2" Limited Edition

Sometimes you just have to take the plunge, spread your wings and fly. That is the personal mindset of Alexander Shorokhov. With many of his daring models, not least the "Crossing 2", he has taken the creative plunge into the watch market and shown that it is possible to make a precision landing with unusual models.

Already for the 25th anniversary in 2017, entrepreneur and designer Alexander Shorokhov designed this very unusual model, which was adapted to the brand's orientation - "Art on the Wrist" - and fully expressed his innovative thinking as well as his artistic sense. Alexander Shorokhov not only showed new traits in watch design, but also supplemented his collection with a new jumping hour movement by Dubois Depraz.

The second edition called "Crossing 2" supports the creativity and philosophy of the Manufacture and is complemented by additional dials. The new models get a new look: even cooler, even sportier and even more attractive!

Unusual color combinations are the main motifs of the new edition. The new dials have been designed with even more attention to detail. The smaller seconds ring and also the minute ring are better accentuated by the clear markings and are easier to read. One of the new dials is available in beautiful midnight blue mother-of-pearl. The hands are also color-coordinated with the respective dial.

The division of the two function sectors - the placement of the minute ring at the top and that of the seconds display at the bottom - is retained. The "jumping" hour with a Dubois Depraz automatic movement in the large window at 12 o'clock is also retained. The distinctive numerals 20 and 40 remain, giving the watch its unmistakable "Alexander Shorokhoff" style. The matching crocodile straps complement the new refined combinations of the "Crossing 2" model.

The movement's rotor is hand-engraved and, in this case, gold-plated; it's worth looking at the impressive movement through the sapphire crystal caseback. The case is made of stainless steel, the bezel and the back are highly polished, the middle part - finely brushed. The glass on the front is antireflective.

All in all, a very successful continuation, which offers not only functionality and elegance, but also "art on the wrist"!
