10/10 World Watch Day / Journée Internationale de l’Horlogerie

The launch edition of World Watch Day, held on October 10, 2025, was a resounding success. Organized by the World Watch Day Association, this first-ever global celebration dedicated to the art, culture, innovation, and heritage of watchmaking engaged an international audience and brought together the entire watchmaking community around a shared passion: the measurement of time.

In 2025 Glashütte Original celebrates 180 years of Glashütte watchmaking, whereas MEISSEN, Europe’s first porcelain manufactory, can look back on 315 years of history. The partnership between the two heritage brands is thus a meeting of like-minded actors whose experience and design expertise find expression in three unique timepieces.

On October 10, 2025, the international watch community will take the time to celebrate the very first edition of World Watch Day — a new global celebration dedicated to the art, heritage, and innovation of watchmaking.
