U-Boat Darkmoon 25 Anniversary Edition

In 2025, U-BOAT celebrates its first quarter of a century — twenty-five years of independent vision, unconventional style, and a deep passion for Italian watchmaking. To mark this milestone, the Lucca-based Maison presents a special limited edition of the Darkmoon collection, reinterpreted in six exclusive versions, each limited to just 300 pieces.

The new Darkmoon Anniversary stands out for its 46.50 mm case — larger than previous models — featuring an oversized bezel that enhances its wrist presence. Available in satin-finished 316L stainless steel or black PVD coating, it comes in three dial colors — black, green, and blue with a soleil finish — resulting in six unique references.

Beneath the domed sapphire crystal, the line’s distinctive character comes to life through the “Oil Immersion” technology: the entire movement is submerged in a special oil that gives the dial a vivid, three-dimensional look, accentuated by a compensation bubble that floats freely on the surface.

Powering the watch is a reliable Swiss Made Ronda 762 movement with hours and minutes hands and applied metallic numerals, all treated with beige Super-LumiNova for optimal readability. At six o’clock, a plaque marked “Anniversary” and the 25th logo further highlight the uniqueness of the edition.

The screw-down caseback features the iconic “Locking Ring System,” equipped with a porthole for quick battery replacement and potential oil refill. Completing the watch are a laser-engraved serial number and a QR code granting smartphone access to an immersive U-BOAT digital experience.

Each watch comes with a quick-release silicone strap, easily interchangeable thanks to a practical and secure release clip, featuring a pin buckle in 316L stainless steel or with a PVD finish, depending on the version.
