Orient Stretto Date and Stretto Day & Night

Orient has added new models to Orient Stretto, an iconic series in the Contemporary Collection: five Orient Stretto Date models featuring colourful dials with the theme of pop & metallic, and five Orient Stretto Day & Night models. With their modern, urban styling and vibrant colours, these models are ideal for fashion-minded watch enthusiasts who want to enjoy mechanical timepieces in a relaxed, effortless way.

Orient Stretto is a new series introduced in 2025. Its name comes from the Italian musical term “stretto” which describes a quickening of tempo towards a dramatic climax, an idea that lends the collection a sense of energy and exhilaration, perfectly suited to a fast-paced urban lifestyle.

Orient Stretto Date

Featuring three centre hands, a date display, and case diameter of 38.5 mm, the new Orient Stretto Date comes in five vivid colours inspired by the theme of pop & metallic – a complete departure from colours of the past. The four 2026 Spring-Summer models feature Orient Stretto’s distinctive dial with sunburst finish culminating in an arc, and three-dimensional wedge-shaped indices evoking skyscrapers. They are available in the vivid and impactful colours green, blue, pink and orange. The limited-edition model (2,300 pieces) features a special dial design combining an embossed stripe pattern with vertical blue gradation.

The Orient Stretto Day & Night line-up comprises five new models: two models featuring stainless steel cases with gold or rose gold-coloured plating and white or brown dials; two models with stainless steel cases with green or navy dials; and a 2026 Spring-Summer model. This last model is particularly captivating, featuring a bold colour scheme and dial incorporating all four colours of Orient Stretto Date’s Spring-Summer model dials. With colours such as blue Day & Night display at 4 o’clock indicating day and night with sun and moon motifs, orange concentric circles beneath the wedge-shaped indices and day of the week subdial with the day hand at 10 o’clock, as well as pink minute scale and green second hand as accents, the 2026 Spring-Summer model’s vibrant colour scheme is truly captivating.

Orient Stretto Day & Night

The Orient Stretto series is equipped with an automatic (with hand winding) bi-directional winding movement allowing the watch to be fully wound in a short amount of time. It provides stable accuracy of +25 seconds to –15 seconds per day and power reserve of 40 hours. Combined with the water resistance case to 5 bar and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, this is the perfect watch to comfortably wear for any occasion.
