Norqain, the independent family-owned Swiss watch brand, continues to push the boundaries of watchmaking with the launch of the Wild ONE Meteorite Special Edition — the brand’s first-ever timepiece featuring extraterrestrial material. This bold new release marks a significant milestone for Norqain, combining cutting-edge engineering with a cosmic twist that elevates the Wild ONE collection to new heights of craftsmanship.

From its debut in 2022, Norqain’s signature Wild ONE collection has made a powerful impact on the watch world. Created in collaboration with industry legend Jean-Claude Biver, this innovative, high-performance timepiece perfectly embodies the brand’s DNA. Its concept is truly unique: the revolutionary case, made from just 25 components, combines ultra-lightness with exceptional robustness thanks to NORTEQ®, an innovative, highly shock-resistant carbon-fibre material developed exclusively for Norqain in collaboration with BIWI. The result is a cutting-edge luxury watch that is as resilient as it is refined.

In this special edition, the spotlight falls on a signature feature: a dial crafted from authentic iron meteorite stone. Each dial, which is unique to each watch, features the distinctive Widmanstätten pattern, which is naturally occurring crystalline structures that form through extremely slow cooling of metallic asteroids over millions of years, making every piece truly one of a kind. The eye-catching 42mm burgundy NORTEQ® case provides the perfect contrast, creating a striking interplay of light, textures, and storytelling.

This Wild ONE Meteorite Special Edition features an engraved burgundy NORTEQ® Norqain plate on the left side of the case, which can be personalised with a short message, initials, or a significant date. The open caseback features scratch-proof flat sapphire crystal, offering a glimpse at the mechanical artistry within. Underscoring the watch’s exclusivity, the caseback features the black inscription: ‘SPECIAL EDITION, METEORITE.’

The beating heart inside the watch is a Norqain Manufacture Calibre NN20/1 by Kenissi, a COSC-certified chronometer. Adding to the movement’s allure are a personalised bridge proclaiming Norqain’s core values:, “Adventure – Freedom – Independence”, and a personalised Norqain oscillating weight.

The Norqain Wild ONE Meteorite Special Edition combines the creativity and ingenuity of a contemporary luxury Swiss watch brand working at the peak of its powers with an ancient relic from a far-distant part of our solar system, a perfect formula for out-of-the-ordinary adventure.

The exclusive timepiece, with a limited production of 300 pieces in 2025, will be officially launched ahead of Dubai Watch Week, where it will make its debut in the presence of Norqain founder and CEO Ben Küffer, as well as Vice President Toby Küffer.

The Wild ONE Meteorite Special Edition will be available from the day of its launch, priced at CHF 5’950 with an integrated anthracite rubber strap featuring a Milanese pattern and a burgundy NORTEQ® pin buckle, or CHF 6’300 with a black DLC titanium folding clasp. The clasp version includes a black NORTEQ® plate and a quick adjustment system for added comfort and versatility.
