Norqain Independence 40mm Hakuna Mipaka

Norqain is thrilled to introduce the new Independence 40mm Hakuna Mipaka – an exclusive limited edition of only 100 pieces, developed in collaboration with Norqainer and wildlife ambassador Dean Schneider.

Hakuna Mipaka is Swahili for "No Limits." The Hakuna Mipaka Oasis spans approximately 400 hectares (four million square meters) in the South African wilderness and is home to thousands of different wildlife species. The oasis provides a lifelong sanctuary for rescued wild animals born in captivity and also serves as a rehabilitation center for animals that are later released back into the wild. Hakuna Mipaka is not open to the public or tourists. Alongside the lions and hyenas featured on Dean Schneider’s social media channels, the oasis is also home to giraffes, zebras, leopards, reptiles, and birds, all contributing to the rich ecosystem of the area.

To honor the story of Hakuna Mipaka, the Independence 40mm Hakuna Mipaka is adorned with a rainbow-colored bezel, set with 60 hand-fitted, colorful crystals – a sustainable and ethical alternative to mined gemstones.

The 40mm stainless steel case with black DLC coating features a striking leopard pattern, which is also reflected on both the dial and the animal-friendly rubber strap. Inside, the chronometer-certified (COSC) Norqain N08 automatic movement ensures exceptional precision.

Each of the 100 pieces in this limited edition is engraved with "ONE of 100" on the case back.

Ten percent of the earnings of sales from this timepiece will be donated to the Hakuna Mipaka Oasis in South Africa.
