Lorige BL-Endurance «COOL Racing 2024»

Celebrating the first anniversary of their partnership, LORIGE and COOL Racing unveil a unique series of timepieces crafted from the carbon brake pads used on the 24 Hours of Le Mans podium-winning COOL Racing car. Introducing the BL-Endurance «COOL Racing 2024», limited to 5 pieces.

A unique partnership

Founded in 2017 by Nicolas Lapierre and Alexandre Coigny, COOL Racing is a Swiss racing team based in Annecy, France, and one of the most successful racing teams currently running in the European Le Mans Series
and FIA World Endurance Championship.

LORIGE and COOL Racing teamed up in 2023, a collaboration that came naturally as both companies share core values of precision, innovation, and endurance, driven by a passion for performance and a dedication to achieving the highest standards.

LORIGE’s unique carbon brake pads reprocessing technology paired with COOL Racing’s comitment to endurance championships gave birth to some of the most exceptional timepieces, all crafted from race-winning materials and embodying a piece of motorsport history.

An exclusive release limited to 5 pieces

Marking their collaboration’s first anniversary, the BL-Endurance «COOL RACING 2024» celebrates the racing team’s recent success at the 2023 world’s most famous endurance race, where the LMP2 COOL RACING #37 achieved a hard-earned second place at the race’s 100th edition.

The BL-Endurance «COOL RACING 2024» is an exclusive series of 5 pieces, crafted from the podium winning race car’s carbon brake pads. Result from three years of R&D, the raw carbon is processed to meet fine watchmaking standards, before going through a 30-hour patented operation to turn it into a super light case and dial monobloc.

Applied by hand, blue Neoralithe® arabic numerals give the dial a spectacular depth, contrasting with the carbon marble pattern and the hands made from nickel silver, decorated using three different finishing techniques.

For the first time, the BL-Endurance «COOL RACING 2024» houses a redesigned version of the brand’s in-house peripheral rotor movement, a 45-hour power reserve mechanical marvel entirely developed and produced with Timeless SA in Geneva, Switzerland. Made from 294 components, the LOR-PR01 caliber features a performance-optimized version of the power reserve display at 6 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock.

Limited to 5 pieces, this initial release has already been allocated to existing customers. A second edition paying tribute to the partnership will be released soon.
