Isotope Hydrium Grey Reef Shark

Independent British watchmaker Isotope introduces the Hydrium Grey Reef Shark, the latest evolution of its distinctive Hydrium dive watch and a limited edition of just 200 pieces.

Inspired by the understated presence of the grey reef shark and the environments it inhabits, the new model features a cold grey dial with an intentionally restrained, almost brutalist character. Rather than depicting its namesake literally, Isotope has translated the shark’s character through color, texture and function.

At the center of the dial sits Isotope’s signature raised Lacrima motif, surrounded by a raised chapter ring and distinctive Isotope hands, with Super-LumiNova providing visibility in low-light conditions.

The Grey Reef Shark retains the proven Hydrium platform: a 40mm micro-blasted 316L stainless-steel case, double-domed sapphire crystal, unidirectional diving bezel, 300 meters of water resistance, and the Swiss-made Landeron 24 automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve.

An all-new Hybrium bracelet

The Grey Reef Shark also marks the debut of something Hydrium owners have been waiting for: a dedicated Hydrium stainless-steel bracelet.

Constructed from solid, bead-blasted stainless-steel links, the new 22/18mm bracelet features screw-fixed links, quick-release spring bars and a diver’s clasp with micro-adjustment. Importantly, it has been designed to fit every Hydrium produced to date, allowing existing owners to give their watches an entirely new character.

The Hydrium Bracelet will also be available for separate purchase. Each Grey Reef Shark is supplied with both the new stainless-steel bracelet and a quick-release grey FKM rubber strap.
