Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium x Engineered Garments Limited Edition

Hamilton teams up with Engineered Garments to create a limited-edition Khaki Field Titanium. The collaboration with the esteemed Japanese-American brand is defined by a shared reverence for utility in design, materials and craftsmanship.

In its 25-year history, New York-based design house Engineered Garments has established an aesthetic that is completely its own by drawing on design elements from founder Daiki Suzuki's native Japan with references to classic Americana style staples.

Invoking a wide range of inspiration from across workwear, military uniforms and sportswear — Suzuki places an emphasis on utility and carefully selects materials that are functional and appealing. Hamilton’s heritage in American design and commitment to craftsmanship underscore the genuine authenticity of the partnership, one built on shared values and design principles.

Hamilton’s Khaki Field watches draw a parallel to the rugged, timeless and capable qualities of Engineered Garments collections. The limited-edition Khaki Field Titanium, created in collaboration with Engineered Garments, embodies the shared design philosophies.

When choosing a partner for a collaboration, brand fit and vision are two of our main criteria,” says Hamilton CEO Vivian Stauffer. “Hamilton being a watch brand with a rich history and a focus on innovation and Engineered Garments with their attention to detail and hidden qualities, we both share the same approach to creating products that are personal. That’s why we knew from the beginning that the output of this collaboration would have strong connections to the values of each brand.

Hamilton designers worked closely with Engineered Garments to create a watch that felt both personal and enduring. Among the most notable design elements is the watch’s size. Closer to the original, Suzuki opted for a 36mm case for both its unisex appeal and versatility. In true Engineered Garments style, material is a foundational element of the overall design.

For a classic field watch, this size demands something new yet robust,” says Suzuki. “Hence, I advocate for lightweight and durable titanium. Its slightly darker silver-gray tone, unique to titanium, perfectly complements rugged outdoor styles.

Paired with a titanium bracelet, the watch exemplifies the Khaki Field’s adventure-ready potential balanced with enduring robustness. For the dial, Suzuki opted for fewer distractions to stay true to the purpose of a field watch.

The dial design prioritizes visibility with a minimalist approach, eliminating any unnecessary elements," Suzuki adds. “In my view, this configuration epitomizes the ideal field watch—both contemporary and timeless, embodying the essence of Hamilton Khaki x Engineered Garments."

Run by an H-10 automatic movement with 80-hour power reserve and with 25 jewels, the watch features a Nivachron™ balance spring for better resistance to magnetic fields, temperature variation and shocks.

Like all Engineered Garments pieces, supply is limited. There are just 1,999 pieces — a reference to 1999, the year Suzuki founded Engineered Garments.

About Engineered Garments

Engineered Garments was founded by Daiki Suzuki in New York in 1999, after taking inspiration from his years buying for the Nepenthes stores in their early stages, and combining it with his own vision. As a brand, our aim is to make garments that become more personal through the experiences you have with them. We value unique garment construction with attention to detail, with meaning and hidden qualities behind each design. We venture into conflicting themes, straying from “perfect design”. We are not designed but engineered.
