It carries the signature spirit of Franck Muller, the sculpted curves, the distinctive silhouette and the expressive numerals, yet introduces a new material shaped by intense heat and pressure: high-density glass fiber composite. The case’s lightweight construction and athletic geometry echo the spirit of performance, while the Wave traces a path across the case, expressing movement with balance and intention. Its wearer moves within that current, but on his own terms. It does not seek attention through volume, but through clarity of purpose and the quiet strength of refined engineering.

To create the case of the Vanguard Wave, glass fiber is melted at an intense 1,500°C and drawn into ultra-fine filaments. These are layered into sheets and immersed in deep colour baths, then compressed to form solid composite blocks. This is not colour applied to a surface; it is matter engineered from within. Through CNC precision machining, a process that uses computer-controlled tools for exact shaping, the organic undulating lines of the Wave are revealed. The result is a case that is remarkably lightweight yet exceptionally durable, combining strength and agility in a way that aligns naturally with the sportier side of the Vanguard identity.

This collection features four vivid pieces: Wave Blue, Wave Orange, Wave Red, and Wave Silver, each expressing a different current of character. From refined restraint to bold momentum, the colours channel strength with nuance and presence with intention. The Vanguard Wave is housed in a case of 41 millimeters width and paired with a woven fabric strap inspired by sportswear ergonomics and designed for secure wear and effortless adjustment, offering ease, comfort and versatility through everyday wear.
