Favre Leuba Deep Raider Power Reserve
Favre Leuba introduces the Deep Raider Power Reserve—an expansion of the Deep Raider collection that debuted in 2024. Housed in a 40mm stainless steel case, this new edition retains the collection’s water resistance as well as the silhouette that defines it, in addition to a new display for the power reserve.
The Dial Details
The dial of the Deep Raider Power Reserve features a refined sunray finish, radiating from the center outward, creating an effective interplay of light. Two sub-dials are distinguished by a snailed finishing, adding a textural element. These are the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and the power reserve indicator at 6 o’clock. Meanwhile, a three-figure date aperture is seen at 3 o’clock in a vertical arc. Each of these elements is bordered by a raised metallic frame.
The dial of the Deep Raider Power Reserve comes in white, black, green, blue, or ice blue.
Case Construction and Dive Elements
The stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter and 12.59mm in thickness and comes with a sapphire crystal glass. A screw-in crown, knurled for secure handling, helps ensure the case’s water resistance of 300 meters. Tapered lugs and polished chamfered edges add to the architectural profile and overall finish of the case.
The unidirectional-rotating bezel with a ceramic insert features a luminous pip at 12 o’clock to improve the reading of dive time underwater. Integrated seamlessly with the case is a stainless steel bracelet with alternating brushed and polished surfaces. It is equipped with a quick-change system that doesn’t require tools. All the straps of the Deep Raider Renaissance collection are compatible with the Power Reserve series.
The caseback features an engraved medallion incorporating Favre Leuba’s historic emblem within a wave-inspired motif. It carries the inscription “Conquering Frontiers Since 1737.”
Mechanical Configuration
Powering the timepiece is the automatic FLP01 caliber, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), and can store a power reserve of up to 41 hours, trackable through the power reserve indicator on the dial.
The Deep Raider Collection Expands
The Deep Raider collection traces its origins to 1964, when Favre Leuba introduced the Deep Blue: a robust dive watch that laid the foundation for the brand’s modern dive watches. In 2024, it was reintroduced as the Deep Raider Revival. Alongside, the Deep Raider Renaissance was launched as a modern reinterpretation.
The Renaissance line expanded in 2025 to include stone dials in malachite and meteorite, for material variety. And now, with the Power Reserve, the collection expands its mechanical capabilities.
Following the expansion of the Chief collection in 2025, 2026 marks a renewed focus on the Deep Raider,” comments Patrik Hoffmann, CEO of Favre Leuba. “Rooted in our 1964 Deep Blue, the collection represents our commitment to purposeful, performance-driven watchmaking. The Power Reserve strengthens the Deep Raider collection by adding mechanical depth while preserving the robustness and clarity that define the Deep Raider today.”
The Deep Raider Power Reserve retails at CHF 2’500.
