DELMA releases a bespoke limited-edition Oceanmaster in tandem with Oliver Heer Ocean Racing in celebration of their adventurous spirit and fortitude at sea.

With their remarkable achievement as the first Swiss German Team to qualify for the Vendee Globe, Oliver Heer Ocean Racing has proven to be a true champion of the sea. Their determination to complete this unpredictable solo, non-stop, unassisted yacht race around the world embodies the adventurous spirit of DELMA. The partnership has strengthened DELMA's connection with extreme sailing and inspired the latest edition to our Oceanmaster series which will accompany Oliver on his upcoming expedition.

The endurance and tactical skills required to compete in long distance regattas are the force behind the Oceanmaster series of elite sailors' watches. The new Oliver Heer Ocean Racing limited edition contains distinctive features drawn from the skipper's riveting offshore experiences. The most notable new component is the Superluminova BGW 9 fully luminous dial. This feature was inspired by a harrowing moment during The Transat CIC race, when an electrical failure left Oliver in total black out. With the help of limited prevailing devices and his elite training, he was able to recover and complete the race, essential in his quest to qualify for a spot in the coveted Vendee Globe.
