Bianchet Rotondo UltraFino Rose Gold

Bianchet introduces Rotondo UltraFino in rose gold. A balanced expression of black and gold tension, ultra-thin mastery, and sculptural expression. Powered by Bianchet Flying Tourbillon calibre UR01 in titanium.

Bianchet expands its Rotondo UltraFino collection with a new rose gold execution, bringing a warmer, more sculptural interpretation to its signature ultra-thin flying tourbillon architecture. The new references reinforce the Maison’s distinctive design language, where a dynamic tension and the Maison's philosophy "Form Above All" define every curve, facet, and proportion.

While remaining true to the technical foundation of the UltraFino Rotondo in titanium, the rose gold edition introduces a heightened sense of contrast, refinement, and presence, emphasizing the interplay between precious metal warmth and deep black technical accents.

Between strength and refinement

At ts core, the Rotondo UltraFino Gold is driven by the Bianchet calibre UR01, an extra-thin automatic flying tourbillon movement developed entirely in Grade 5 titanium. The architecture is designed for both visual purity and structural resilience, combining lightness of construction with high mechanical robustness, including shock resistance up to 5,000 G.

A solid 18K rose gold rotor animates the winding system, adding a warm kinetic signature visible through the skeleton architecture. The movement is further enhanced by a black PVD treatment on the titanium bridges and main structure, reinforcing the monochrome contrast that defines this new interpretation.

Despite its complexity, the movement weighs less than 8 grams, and measures only 3.85 mm in thickness, enabling the watch to maintain its signature ultra-slim profile of 8.9 mm.

A signature architecture of contrast

The Rotondo UltraFino Gold refines the visual identity oft he collection through a carefully orchestrated interplay of materials, colours and finishes.

The warmth of the rose gold case is set against the technical depth of the black PVD-treated Grade 5 titanium movement, creating a striking dialogue between precious metal and contemporary engineering. This visual tension is further enhanced by the black rubber gasket beneath the bezel, a distinctive signature found on every Bianchet timepiece, which subtly accentuates the layered architecture of the case while adding a modern technical character. The black lacquered crown completes the composition, reinforcing a monochrome thread that runs throughout the design.

Together, these elements create a visual language, where black and gold, strength and refinement, emotion and performance exist in perfect balance, and every material serves both an aesthetic and structural purpose.

Form Above All: Geometry as philosophy

The Gold Edition of the Rotondo UltraFino continues to embody Bianchet’s foundational design philosophy, where geometry is not a stylistic choice but a structural language. Under the principle of Form Above All, every curve, angle, and proportion is governed by a pursuit of harmonic balance and architectural clarity.

The round case, an evolution within the Maison’s design universe, does not dilute this philosophy; instead, it translates it into a more fluid expression. The flowing surfaces are deliberately interrupted by precise linear facets, creating a controlled tension that animates the watch from every angle. This interplay between softness and structure reflects the brand’s concept of Dynamic Tension, where opposing forces are not resolved but held in equilibrium.

In this sense, the Rotondo UltraFino is less an object of ornamentation than an exercise in spatial composition. The openwork architecture of the movement extends this philosophy inward, ensuring that what is visible is not excess, but essential structure reduced to its purest form.

Haute Horlogerie finishing

Beyond its technical architecture, the Rotondo UltraFino Rose Gold stands as a testament to traditional haute horlogerie craftsmanship applied within a contemporary design framework. Every visible component is treated with an uncompromising level of finishing that elevates the skeletonized construction into a refined mechanical sculpture.

The case alternates between satin-brushed surfaces and mirror-polished bevels, creating a dynamic interaction with light that emphasizes the geometry of the watch rather than masking it. These finishing techniques are executed with precision to enhance the transitions between volumes, reinforcing the sense of architectural depth.

Inside the movement, each wheel, each bridge is meticulously hand-finished, with over 30 hours of hand-bevelling dedicated to the bridges alone. This artisanal process ensures that even the most technical components exhibit a soft, luminous edge. An essential hallmark of haute horlogerie finishing.

Dual strap system

Conceived as a highly versatile timepiece, the Rotondo UltraFino Gold adapts seamlessly to different expressions of style through an integrated quick-release system. This system allows the watch to transform its character without compromising its architectural integrity.

Two distinct configurations are available:

Integrated rose gold bracelet and additional black rubber strap: This configuration pairs the sculptural continuity of the full rose gold bracelet with the technical, sport-oriented presence of a black rubber strap. The contrast between precious metal and high-performance elastomer reinforces the dual identity of the watch—refined yet dynamic, elegant yet contemporary.

Dual rubber strap set - black and white: This interpretation emphasizes modern versatility and daily adaptability. The black strap expresses the watch’s technical and architectural intensity, while the white strap introduces a lighter, more graphic reading of the design, highlighting the geometry of the case and dial with greater contrast.
