Born as an homage to Arabian arts and architecture, the Angles collection now welcomes a striking new edition: Blue Angles. Refined, technically enhanced, and now dressed in a deep blue lacquer, this timepiece embodies the subtle evolution of one of Beda’a’s foundational creations.

From origins to evolution

Before Beda’a officially came to life as a watchmaking Maison, the idea was born to create a timepiece that could reinterpret Arabian architecture and arts in a fresh and contemporary way. Among the first creations, the Angles collection quickly established itself as distinctive, beloved by collectors and enthusiasts in the region.

In 2023, as the brand realigned its identity, it became clear that Angles deserved a refreshed expression. While preserving its DNA – an octagonal case, a slim profile, and uncompromising everyday wearability – the design was revisited to elevate its details and highlight its uniqueness.

A subtle, refined renewal

The new Angles refines its silhouette: rounded edges soften the once-sharp stepped case, while new stepped lugs and a sculpted crown reinforce its singular presence. Crafted in 316L stainless steel, the case now measures 37 mm, with a slight curve on the case-back to enhance wrist comfort.

The finishing has also been heightened with alternating brushed surfaces and polished fillets, enriching the play of light and depth, of volume and detail.

The ‘misty dial’ – now in deep blue

At the center of this evolution lies a lacquered deep-blue dial that expands the collection’s identity. True to its ‘misty dial’ spirit, it appears blank from afar yet upon closer inspection it reveals delicate, ghost-like Roman numerals. Polished dauphine hands complete this refined and timeless aesthetic.

The new rich, deep blue color lends itself particularly well to the ‘misty dial’ aesthetic of the Angles collection. From a distance the dial appears completely featureless, and as you get closer, it gradually reveals its secret Roman numerals – an intentional reminder that time is never given all at once.
