Alexander Shorokhoff Big Date Chrono

For the first time, Alexander Shorokhoff presents a chronograph with a Big Date function, a special type of date display. The new model, "Big Date Chrono," features the date displayed by two separate, larger digits in a window directly at the 12 o'clock position.

Instead of a single digit, as seen in many traditional date displays, the "Big Date Chrono" shows the digits 01 to 31, allowing for a more precise date representation. This larger display is not only functional but also adds a unique aesthetic and a sportier impression to the watch.

The mechanics behind the "Big Date Chrono" require a more complex movement to synchronize and precisely move the two digits. The Alexander Shorokhoff watch manufactory utilizes the precise and reliable Swiss automatic chronograph movement Dubois-Dépraz DD4500.

In addition to its high precision, it features a stopwatch function with a bright mother-of-pearl hour display at the 6 o'clock position and a power reserve of 42 hours, with a hand-engraved rotor by the manufactory.

The overall design of the new automatic model is very avant-garde and sporty. In the first version, the orange center of the dial harmonizes perfectly with the orange calf leather strap of the watch. The second color variant impresses with yellow and green accents.

The two subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock are also dynamically and characteristically designed, featuring sporty, square numerals. The hands stand out with their distinctive and striking shape, emphasizing the sporty and avant-garde design.

Overall, the new "Big Date Chrono" offers both practical readability advantages and an appealing visual aspect for watch enthusiasts. Collectors will also appreciate the limited edition of only 30 pieces worldwide.
